Christmas has come and gone and so have our days of watching movies, playing video games and pigging out on anything within reach. We had an amazing Christmas! We started Christmas Eve by spending the evening with my parents eating ham, potatos, rolls and cheesecake and ended by watching A Muppets Christmas Carol. My all time favorite Christmas movie! We also open an ornament every Christmas Eve and this year my parents gave us a statue of liberty ornament to remember our trip to New York! We love it!
Then, Christmas Day we woke up at 6 am ( I know, what were we thinking?) and opened our gifts and then headed out to Cody's parents at 9 for presents and breakfast. We were both really spoiled this year by each other and by our parents. I've got pictures on my camera, which one day will make their debut on this blog. I'm hoping to have them before the week is over. :)
After breakfast (or brunch) we headed to my parents and then out to my grandma Hubbards for vegetable chowder and the Christmas program. I look forward to that every year! We then headed to my grandma and grandpa Huff's to chat with them and then started the treacherous journey home during the snow storm.
It was such a great day! We love hanging out with family and getting caught up with what is going on in their lives. We are so grateful for our loving parents and all that they do for us! We can never thank you enough for all the meals, money and love that you provide. :)
